Laser hair removal has gained popularity as a reliable and efficient method for long-term hair reduction. This non-invasive procedure involves using a concentrated impulsed beam of light to target and destroy hair follicles, thereby inhibiting future hair growth.

There are several reasons why laser epilation is considered beneficial by many individuals seeking a more permanent solution to unwanted hair.

1. Precision and effectiveness
Laser technology precisely targets hair follicles, ensuring efficient hair removal while minimizing damage to the surrounding skin.

2. Long-lasting results
Laser epilation provides long-term hair reduction, with many individuals experiencing months or even years of reduced hair growth.

3. Time and cost savings
Although it may require a long course of sessions, laser epilation saves time and money in the long run by eliminating the need for constant shaving, waxing, or salon visits.

4. Convenience and low maintenance
Once initial treatments are complete, laser epilation offers extended periods of hair-free skin without the hassle of regular hair removal routines.

5. Reduction in ingrown hairs
Laser epilation reduces the occurrence of ingrown hairs, resulting in smoother, clearer skin.

6. Safety and minimal side effects
When performed by a professional, laser epilation is safe, with temporary side effects like redness or skin irritation.

Technology we use

1. Consultation

Before proceeding with the treatment, we always provide an extensive consultation where we discuss all the important topics that clients should be aware of. During the consultation, our laser specialist will talk about the patient’s health, laser technology, possible side effects, expectations from the procedure, and pre/post-care rules.

2. Skin check and skin preparation

The next step is to perform a skin examination. It is important to ensure that the client is properly shaved and has no ongoing skin issues. We thoroughly examine the client’s moles, birthmarks, and any pigmentation.

Lasering

After preparing the skin, we begin the laser treatment using parameters chosen by the specialist based on the patient’s skin and hair type. The patient wears eye protection glasses throughout the entire treatment. Depending on the areas being treated, we may use different applicators/handpieces and tactics during the treatment to achieve the best results.

4. Post-treatment care

After the treatment, we apply calming and protective skin care products, such as aloe gel, face/body cream, body oil, and SPF cream/lotion if needed.

Pre-Care

All areas to be treated must be shaved beforehand. We do not provide shaving services and do not need any grown hair for the treatment.

Avoid waxing or sugaring for at least 4-6 weeks prior to the treatment. These processes can damage hair follicles and the hair needs time to regrow and repair.

Avoid excessive tanning. We recommend waiting at least one to two weeks after sunbathing before starting laser procedures. If the skin has been sunburned or intensely damaged, we may recommend waiting even longer.

Avoid using active skincare ingredients such as acidic products, retinol, vitamin C, etc., for at least two weeks prior to laser hair removal treatment. These ingredients may cause irritation, sensitivity or unpredictable skin response.

Post Care

After the treatment, we advise our clients to avoid intensive sports, saunas, hot showers and baths, scrubs, peelings, and sunbathing for at least three days and up to one week.

If there is any skin reaction immediately after the treatment, such as redness, edema, dryness, or itchiness, we recommend applying moisturizing and nourishing skin care products.

Avoid using active skincare ingredients such as acidic products, retinol, vitamin C, etc., for at least two weeks after the laser hair removal treatment. These ingredients may cause irritation, sensitivity or unpredictable skin response.

Avoid excessive tanning. We recommend waiting for at least two weeks before sunbathing after each laser procedure. Apply sun protection regularly for at least two weeks after the treatment.
