Our Cryolipolysis Procedure

Our clinic offers the latest in cryolipolysis technology with the Cooltech device from Cocoon Medical. Our trained and experienced practitioners will work with you to design a customized treatment plan to achieve your desired fat reduction results. For best and sustainable results, it is recommended to have 2 to 4 cryolipolysis sessions with an interval of around 6 weeks in between.

1. Consultation

Your journey begins with a comprehensive consultation to determine if cryolipolysis is the right solution for you. Our practitioners will discuss your concerns and desired results, as well as provide information on the treatment process and aftercare.

2. Treatment

During the cryolipolysis treatment, first a gel pad is applied on the target area that works as a cold protection membrane. Then, an appropriate applicator is applied on it. The applicator has a soft silicone receptacle and creates a gentle vacuum. As a result, the area is sucked away from the body to the cold plates in the treatment applicator. No more than 3 to 4 zones should be treated in one session to avoid an uncomfortable cold sensation.

3. Aftercare

After the treatment, you can return to your normal daily activities immediately. Small bruises or mild redness may also occur due to the vacuum. This redness or bruising usually disappears after a few hours or days. A slight muscle tension is also occasionally felt in the following week. This disappears as well. We also don’t recommend to visit sauna on the following days, other than that there are no restrictions.

While cryolipolysis is an effective solution for reducing unwanted fat, it is not a substitute for a healthy lifestyle. The most commonly treated areas include the abdomen, flanks (love handles), thighs, back and arms. Cryolipolysis is not a weight loss solution, but rather a targeted treatment to sculpt and contour specific areas of the body.

In general, cryolipolysis is not recommended for individuals who have/are:

● Pregnant or breastfeeding
● Cold intolerance, cryoglobulinemia, paroxysmal cold hemoglobinuria, or cold agglutinin disease
● Vascular inflammations
● Diseases of fatty tissue or liver
● Extremely sensitive skin
● Severely overweight persons
